Could someone explain exactly what his role will be? Director of Football sounds nebulous, but many people are saying his job is to recruit new players. If that's the case, why not Director of Transfers? What else will he be expected to do?

I just hope he has a fruitful employment in other words is allowed to do his job it will be a bit shit if the man asks for a certain player but is not listened to or as per usual our chairmen try to get the player for peanuts.

Looks like a very positive move. Hopefully will put and end to square-pegs in round-holes and create a transfer policy that compliments a system of play.
